We're looking for a Bookkeeper / Office Manager who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, knows certified payroll like the back of their hand, and can keep A/P in check. If you're detail-driven, organized, and ready to to work in an office that values your expertise-this is your moment.
?? Handle weekly certified payroll from start to finish-tracking hours, job numbers, union dues, and all required deductions
?? Work closely with union employees and manage Prevailing Wage reporting with precision
?? Manage accounts payable, including processing vendor invoices, benefits payments, and union dues across 30+ unions nationwide
?? Ensure accurate paycheck issuance and correct any payroll errors proactively
?? Compile and submit certified payroll records to appropriate agencies
?? Support the Controller with various accounting projects and tasks
??? Use Sage 100 (or learn it!) to keep records clean, accurate, and up to date
3+ years of construction industry experience - non-negotiable!
Strong experience with certified payroll, prevailing wage, and union payroll compliance
Background in Accounts Payable with solid attention to detail
Familiarity with multi-state payroll laws - a big plus
Experience with Sage 100 - also a plus
